Built upon the rugged and reliable foundation of its predecessor, the Pro 7 Series, the Pro 8a is designed for ease of use and exceptional performance.

Main power controls are prominently located at the top center of the unit. Power levels can be adjusted in precise 0.1 stop increments by turning each knob, or in full stop increments by pushing down and turning.
Default readout displays power levels in stops, with “10” indicating full power. Watt/Seconds readout is accessible with a push of a button.
Secondary controls for the modeling light, radio slave, recycle speed, and audible recycle tone are visible from the top and operated from the sides.
Impressive performance capabilities include extremely short recycle times, enabling up to 20 flashes per second (stroboscopic).
Minimal power and color fluctuations ensure consistent lighting output (±1/50 f-stop and ±40°K flash-to-flash, respectively).
Power levels can be controlled remotely using the optional Profoto Air transceiver or USB transceiver, compatible with Mac or PC.
