Chimera Octaplus 5

The OctaPlus family of Lightbanks, available at Lightbulb Rentals, is designed to produce soft, beautifully diffused light with smooth, rounded highlights. Featuring a soft silver interior, the OctaPlus Lightbanks utilize an innovative graduated baffle in models like the OctaPlus 5 and OctaPlus 57 to ensure highly efficient and even light distribution.
Extensive testing has shown minimal light falloff, with only a 0.2 f-stop difference between the center and outer edges of the OctaPlus 57.
All CHIMERA OctaPlus Lightbanks support strobes and continuous light sources up to 1200 watts, with the 5-foot and 7-foot models accommodating sources up to 2000 watts. These Lightbanks require an OctaPlus Speed Ring for attachment.
For the larger models, such as the OctaPlus 5 and OctaPlus 57, it’s recommended to use a CHIMERA model 3770 stand adaptor or another suitable stand adaptor to ensure the weight of the Lightbank is properly supported, avoiding strain on the fixture.
