The Arri LMB 4×5 Matte Box 15mm LWS Pro Set from Lightbulb Rentals offers a comprehensive selection of lightweight matte box components. Included in this versatile set are a 15mm lightweight rod support system, stationary 2-filter and single-filter stages, and a single-filter rotating stage. The kit also features five 4 x 5.65″ / 4 x 4″ combo filter trays. The LMB 4×5 matte box can be mounted at the top or bottom using the 15mm LWS console, with a separate lens clamp adapter required for clip-on use.
For optical control and flare reduction, the matte box includes one top/bottom flag, two side flags, flag holders, and spherical and anamorphic-formatted mattes. The carbon fiber flags feature slide-out wings for extended flare protection, and the large flag can be positioned as needed.
A combo swing-away/tilt arm module facilitates quick lens changes by providing access to the lens port without removing the matte box from its rods. The tilt function supports filters at a 10° angle to reduce unwanted reflections, such as car headlights. Additionally, an LMB accessory adapter allows for the attachment of 3/8″-16-mountable items, such as focus rangefinders, to the matte box.
