Unlike Astera's NYX bulbs, the Aputure B7C bulbs do not require a socket to operate, allowing users to place them virtually anywhere on set without needing external power. Each bulb is equipped with a built-in lithium-powered battery that provides up to 70 minutes of runtime per charge. Alternatively, they can be powered via a practical bulb socket for extended use. Aputure has equipped the B7C bulbs with comprehensive features, including special effects such as paparazzi, fireworks, lightning, faulty bulb, TV, pulsing, strobe, and explosion effects. The bulbs offer fully tunable CCT from 2000K to 10,000K, with an average CRI of 95+ and TLCI of 96+, ensuring high-quality color rendering and precise lighting control. They feature stepless dimming from 0 to 100% without any color shift, providing versatility in light intensity. For convenient control, the B7C bulbs support wireless Bluetooth operation up to 164 feet, as well as control via Aputure's Sidus Link app for iOS and Android devices.
