The ARRI AMIRA is a documentary and run-and-gun camera that pairs the ALEXA's ALEV III Super35 sensor and color science with an ergonomic, shoulder-ready body. It gives the same 14+ stops of dynamic range and ARRI's natural color in a camera designed to be operated by one person for long stretches, which made it a standard for documentary, live event, and single-camera factual work.
It records ProRes, up to 4444, in MXF to CFast 2.0 cards, with native 3.2K capture and 4K UHD available by license, and frame rates up to 200 fps in HD and 2K for slow motion. Exposure runs on a built-in motorized FSND and an EI range of 160 to 3200, the PL mount supports lens data, and two XLR inputs with phantom power handle professional audio on the body. A 1.3x anamorphic de-squeeze is available by license, and 6G-SDI covers monitoring and output.
As rented, the package is set up for shoulder work: it ships in a hard case with the PL mount, the MVF-1 viewfinder with its holder and cables, the AMIRA top handle, and a wedge plate adapter for quick tripod transfers.
Lightbulb rents the ARRI AMIRA 4K UHD Package along with thousands of other items with next-day pickup or regional delivery across New York and Pennsylvania.
