Large binder clips are the heavy grip of the office-supply world, and film crews adopted them long ago for jobs far beyond paperwork. This box of a dozen large clips puts serious spring-steel clamping force in your kit for everything from script sides to fabric, and once a box lives on your cart you will find uses for it daily.
The large size is the one that does real physical work on set. Camera assistants clip camera reports, labels, and courtesy flags to carts and cases. Grips use them to gather and manage fabric on frames when spring clamps are overkill, to close bags of expendables, and to bundle small cable runs on carts. Script supervisors and ADs bind fat stacks of sides and schedules that would burst a small clip. Sound departments clip lav cable strain reliefs to wardrobe racks, and wardrobe itself uses them for quick fit adjustments behind an actor's back where camera will not see. The folding wire handles let clips hang from a nail or tie line, gang together on a ring, or fold flat out of the way, and the black spring steel bodies survive being stepped on, rained on, and thrown in a workbox for years.
A dozen to a box means one purchase covers the cart, the office, and the ditty bag with a few left to lend and lose.
