OConnor O-Box WM Matte Box Deluxe Set

The OConnor O-Box WM Matte Box Deluxe Set, offered by Lightbulb Rentals, is a lightweight and versatile mini-matte box system designed to accommodate lenses suitable for full-sized sensors, including wide angles up to 18mm. It features two filter stages that accept either 4 x 4″ or 4 x 5.65″ filter trays, with the rear stage offering a full 360-degree rotation ideal for polarizers or graduated filters.
Included in the deluxe set are four filter trays—two each of 4 x 4″ and 4 x 5.65″ trays—and a bellows ring for mounting a 138mm filter. The kit also includes lens siders and brackets, enhancing control over lens flares, in addition to a standard eyebrow (top flag). The matte box comes equipped with a 15mm LWS bracket, with options available for 15mm studio rods, 19mm rods, and adapter rings for clip-on use.
A standout feature of the O-Box system is its incorporation of 3/8″-16 threaded mounting holes directly into the matte box, allowing attachment of O-Grips or other accessories for added stability during handheld operation. Also provided are two universal lens rings made from aluminum and flexible material, accommodating lenses from 55mm to 134mm in diameter while preventing light leaks that could affect image quality. Completing the deluxe kit is a reduction ring designed to work seamlessly with the included bellows ring.
