This filter is densest at the edge and gradually tapers to clear towards the middle, creating a smooth transition between the darkened and clear sections with a soft-edged line.

Neutral density filters like this one do not alter the coloration of the image. The 0.3 density of this filter provides a reduction in light entering the lens equivalent to 1 stop, effectively balancing exposure in scenes where the sky or bright areas need to be toned down.

Manufactured using ColorCore technology, the filter substrate is laminated between two pieces of optical glass and ground to an incredibly flat tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch. This process ensures optical clarity and consistency in performance.
