Element Camera 15mm and 19mm Bridge Plate

The Element Technica Hybrid Bridge Plate system available at Lightbulb Rentals represents a significant advancement in bridge plate design, offering seamless conversion between 15mm Studio, 19mm Studio, 15mm Lightweight, and Panavision rod standards. Initially developed as an upgrade for the Red One camera, its modular design now extends compatibility to various current cameras from Arri, Sony, and Aaton, while also setting a new standard for future camera systems. Switching between rod standards is effortless by adjusting the clamps on both the front and rear of the bridge plate. The rod clamps securely slide onto steel pins and are secured by two 1/4"-20 socket cap screws. For setups using prime lenses or lightweight zooms, the front clamps can accommodate accessories like matte boxes and follow focuses, while the rear clamps support additional gear such as drive mounts or battery mounts. When using larger zoom lenses, both sets of clamps provide robust rod support, enhancing stability during shoots. For added versatility, an optional 15mm Lightweight support clamp (sold separately) can be attached to the front of the 19mm Studio clamp, allowing compatibility with matte boxes and follow focuses designed for the Lightweight standard.
