Fluorescent orange console tape brings safety-cone energy to the labeling world. This is 1-inch low-tack matte paper tape, the kind designed to live on mixing consoles, lighting boards, and equipment carts without ever damaging them, in a blaze orange that demands attention. Sound mixers, board ops, DITs, and best boys use it when a label needs to be a warning as much as a name.
The color is the point of this roll. On a channel strip, orange flags the hot mic, the broken fader, or the do-not-touch group. On a DIT or video cart, an orange band means media that has not been backed up yet. Electricians tag suspect stingers and out-of-service equipment, and ACs wrap a strip around a lens case that needs to go back to the rental house. Because the paper face is matte and fully writable, every one of those warnings can carry words: hot, dead, do not erase, needs repair.
As console tape, it behaves impeccably on delicate gear. The adhesive is genuinely low-tack, so it peels off silkscreen legends, anodized panels, and LCD bezels without lifting anything, even weeks later. It tears easily by hand into short tabs and long channel runs alike. Under blacklight or dim console glow the orange face keeps blazing, so a warning tab stays legible through a blackout cue when a plain label would vanish. Sound carts usually park the roll on a spare mic stand or tape drawer peg so the alert color is grabbable the moment something goes wrong.
