The Lightbulb Rentals' Brilliant2 Variable ND filter offers adjustable light control ranging from 2 stops to 8 stops of Variable Neutral Density. It achieves ND values between ND 0.6 (2 Stops) and ND 2.4 (8 Stops) while maintaining excellent color neutrality. Users can select their desired ND value by manually rotating the geared thumb wheels or using a motorized mechanism. The thumb wheels are marked with letters from A to H, facilitating easy adjustment. A full 360-degree rotation of the thumb wheels changes the Neutral Density smoothly from its minimum to maximum setting. This filter not only attenuates visible light but also reduces near-infrared light between 700nm to 850nm, effectively managing "IR Pollution" that can affect camera sensors sensitive to infrared wavelengths.
